At Growhuts, we offer sheds in a variety of designs. Our pre-built sheds are constructed in the Amish community of Baker (just outside the town of Salmon, Idaho) by the Miller family. The Miller’s craft our sheds to endure high-altitude snow loads and harsh mountain weather. These sheds are built on pressure treated skids so they can be easily moved into place on your property, making the perfect garden or gear shed, man space, she shed, or office.
Siding Materials
Choose from rough-sawn fir or Duratemps® (composite wood) siding, depending on your liking. The fir siding comes in four standard color options and the Duratemps® siding is available in ten painted colorways. Trim paint and stain is matched to fit the aesthetic you desire at no extra cost. Both paint and stain colors can be customized to coordinate with existing structures on your property (may include an additional cost).
Roof Options
Our shed, gable, and gambrel roofline options assure we match the look you want. Roofs come in four metal colors and composite shingle roofing is available for an extra cost.
Doors and Custom Add-ons
Each shed comes standard with double wood doors. However, we can have the Miller’s customize your shed with doors of various styles, including sliding barn doors and garage-style doors. Additional customizations include windows of varying sizes and styles, built-in shelving and lofts, an insulated floor and home wrap, vents, extra studs, extra rafters, ramps, shutters, and flower boxes. Other custom options are available upon consultation, as we can create an attractive space for your office, workshop, studio, or recreational cabin
Livestock Run-In Shelters
Our livestock shelters are constructed with a wide opening on one side—built to custom size—so that large animals can seek shelter from the elements. This type of shed can also serve as a place for wood storage or as a multi-functional shelter.
